Quote information: When you enter a quote, we collect the customer name, phone number, quote amount, and service type you provide. We also track follow-up delivery status and any customer responses.

Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. Stripe may collect billing details in accordance with their privacy policy.

Usage data: We collect basic usage information such as pages visited, features used, and quote counts to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To send automated follow-up SMS messages to your customers on your behalf
• To send you SMS notifications when customers respond
• To display quote analytics and response tracking in your dashboard
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To handle opt-out requests from SMS recipients
• To improve and maintain our service

3. SMS Messaging

CloseMyQuote sends SMS messages on behalf of businesses to their customers for the purpose of following up on quotes and estimates. By using our service, you confirm that you have obtained consent from your customers to receive text messages. Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

We use Twilio as our SMS provider. Messages are transmitted through their infrastructure and are subject to their privacy practices.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data or your customers' data. We share information only with the following service providers necessary to operate CloseMyQuote:

• Twilio: SMS delivery
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Supabase: Database hosting and authentication
• Vercel: Application hosting

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and quote history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You may also export your quote data from your dashboard.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date.
